Although David in service did help to verify my suspicion that the issue is the window regulator. as soon as i told him what happened, he immediately went to it as being the issue, sounded like he's seen it more than a few times before.

Well if I were you, I wouldn't go for that dealership. Buy the parts online and try to do it on your own. It may not be that easy to replace a window regulator but it's not impossible to do it with someone with a minimal knowledge bout it.
