Here is a pic next to the original badge. It's hard to see in the picture but the tips of the B, r and S are worn through to black and I also didn't think the silver color complimented anything else on the car. I'm glad people are being supportive I really liked the look of the updated badge when I saw it on the new cars.
I bought them at the local dealer. I don't have the receipt with me but I think it was about $44 for Boxster and another $35 for the S
