if you want to get your insurance to pay for a new one, you guys should come and drive about in the UK for a bit.. i've done oh, maybe 5,000 miles in the boxster per year for the past 2 years.. 4 new windscreens (sorry windshields) in that time
it is part of the insurance here in the UK on most policies, about $100 deductible insurance company picks up the rest and it doesnt affect your claims history.
nb: when i had mine last time i had the black edging instead of the standard boxster s
'chrome effect' as it just fades peels and looks crappy after a while a dark colour like lapis blue, i personally think it looks a bit better as its the only 'chome effect' on the cars
