The popular pad now is the Pagid Orange. They do make some noise some times, it is inconsistent but it can be kind of nasty. I like them though, a lot, they work great, they are compatible, so you can use your existing rotors. If you can swing it the Pagid Yellows are even better for a street car, they handle more heat and tend to make less noise. That is the endurance pad like the big race teams use at the 24 hours of Daytona to avoid a rotor change. Still, if noise is a big deal, you need to stay with the stock pads. Otherwise the Pagid Orange is the no-brainer of choice for most people these days it seems.
