Yep the rears are tall with 265/40/18. With your stock tires the speedo indicated speeds that were "overly optimistic". The speedo might actually be accurate now.
The other concern is whether the difference in rolling diameter is enough to foul your ABS. +- 3% is the usual safe zone.
