Honestly, I think it might be tough to troubleshoot. If you have a speaker you can wire directly into the amp outputs, you should be able to determine if it's the speakers or wiring;
That's probably where I would start. Not sure what that wiring harness looks like, but is it possible to swap the front / rear connections on the amp? Meaning have the amp drive the rear speakers via the front outputs? That might be another way to test out the amp vs speaker or wiring question.
Otherwise, put a multimeter on the outputs from the amp?
