When I first bought my 987, compliments were extremely common. Not so much anymore, though I do get a nice comment occasionally. I don't seem to get attention from law enforcement like some seem to. Negative on the races too.
My partner bought a black Mini Coupe early this year (just as they launched) and gets ALL the attention. Kids point and stare. Girls shriek in cutsy excitement. And guys (in their super cool way) comment how slick it looks.
