Have the installation kit (spinlocks) express shipped to you or the location where you are picking up the top. Hardtop/Speedster Hump Spinlocks:Porsche Parts & Porsche Accessories - Wholesale Porsche Parts & Tequipment - Cayman Panamera Cayenn

If this doesn't work within your time frame, I'd rethink your plan to drive that distance w/o them.

When I picked up my hardtop the seller didn't have the spinlocks that he said came with the top so I decided to drive the 20 miles home w/ the top only fastened with the front latch. I stuck to side streets and took it pretty slow, but the top still bounced around when I hit bumps. I'd hate to see what might happen at highway speeds. As crazy as it sounds, duck taping (or other strong tape) at the lower rear edge of the top to the body "may" keep the top in place.

You may be able to rig something as a temporary solution, but I'd hate to drive the 300 miles only to find out you can't safely bring the top home.

Here is a link to the install process. It may shed some light on how to get the top home in one piece.
