the MINI event is fun ...participated last year ...saw a few Boxsters out there...sold the MINI and now have an even more fun car to try it ..hope to do it soon .....there is a similar (I understand) annual Boxster event a few miles to the east at the end of May ..the Blue Ridge Boxster Summit........ .can't make it this year but here is the website
