Here are a couple of great Tech Q& A articles from the PCA website concerning several types of oil leaks and their causes:

This one is fantastic. It just showed up in Panorama magazine and explains the causes of the RMS problem along with others.

This one only deals with a question about the previous article.

This one deals with a possible head gasket problem and how to check for it.
