just looks like a tip to me.
as for the drone I honestly dont feel my NHP exhaust has ANY! When I think drone I think a flowmaster on a Chevy Silverado vibrating crap off the dash lol My car is almost silent at any constant speed.
matter of fact,my NHP exhaust is so quiet I want to replace it with something loud!
