I hope I still have the Porsche "drive" when I'm 72!!!!

Porsche wants $645 for that rear cover (not including labor)

I fix them turnkey for $600 out the door.






The bushing Porsche utilized is too thin. It doesn't last. We bore out the hole and make our own press fit bronze bushing (factory used bronze, but it has no way to receive gearlube) We cut a spiral path in the new bushing for oiling, then install a new $4 seal. It's not the seal that is bad.. next step is second gear will go out because the shift selector cannot engage it properly do to the slop in the bushing.
