If that "driving experience" would be worth that price to you, then that's great. If I wanted a different driving experience, i would simply sell my 986 and buy it. For $279,000 I can buy over a dozen cars I would rather have than an old Porsche. I would certainly opt for a 1969 Ferrari Daytona over that P. I would opt for that "driving experience" . To each man his own preference. . And again, I would opt for a much newer twin turbo if I wanted to feel G's. Otherwise, I would drop a TT in my Boxster for 1/10th the price and have "the" driving experience.
