Just to change the subject for a second, on the flip side I just built one basically equivalent to my 2000 'S' that cost $53,323 including about $2500 in options only. It was purchased in 1999, I guess if we want to call that a poor Porsche we can, seems like a lot of money back then. I built the following and it is only ~$12k more, I don't know how much inflation or income increase there has been in that time in general, but I don't think that is a large increase. Maybe we are still in poor mans Porsche territory
. One could have easily created a 80k Boxster with options back then I would think.
Oh and this is the first picture of the car I like yet!! Actually doesn't look so bad, I'll take one.
