I have a new dark burr maple shift knob (6-speed) for 996 / 986 S for sale. I bought the entire shift knob and boot assembly as it was the only way I found to replace the silver metallic horseshoe trim from the exclusive option on my 2001 Boxster S that I had broken. The full factory part for the shift knob and boot assembly was 996-424-981-17-VJR, although this post is just for the shift knob. Please see the pictures and ensure proper fit for your vehicle.
