In the future I'd probably want to get a 2DIN head unit with nav and BT, but in the meantime I'm using my BT headset when driving. Doesn't work too great, as my headset tends to pick up the engine noise over my own voice and the only time I can be heard fine is at a stop, and that's top up. Top down I can't be heard above 40mph even with all the turbulence minimizing in effect (deflectors between and inside roll hoops, windows up, visors up).
ABQautoxter's solutions seems interesting, especially if it works.
