I bought the base, but I wish I got the S. My thought is if a car looks like a sports car it ought to perform like one too. I got the manual because part of fun to me in driving a sports car is ringing it through all the gears. But there are some times, like stop and go traffic and on steep hills where I see the Tip would have been nice. JMHO
