You can recolor any piece of leather you want any color you want with a swatch of original. Go to an automotive upholstery shop and get a piece of leather with the right grain, then do some googling.

Your original leather is painted not "dyed", thus, believe it or not, you can sand, prep & repaint i just like any other painted surface. There are a handful of companies which will match your color with a swatch in a dedicated leather paint
