techron is one of the few additives porsche says is okay. like steve said, your car so do what you want. i have used techron before in the boxster, lubro molly and marvel mystery oil in the past in the 944. i dont know that any of them actually "do" anything.
now the only thing i add is sta-bil when i put it away for the winter.
