Kind of along the same lines as my coolant question. Have any 987 owners done a manual gear oil change yet?

I am thinking about doing this a little early. After 5.5 years and about 45,000 miles I may do this prior to winter hibernation, this fall.

If I have this done, I'll only use Porsche fluid. We can buy from Sunset for about $25/quart. How many quarts are required?

What say you 987 owners about doing this service early?
