You may need to clarify what part you purchased,...

It is my understanding that there are clear halogen lights that resemble the litronic lights and the true litronic lights that use the xenon bulbs and have a separate ballast setup and reflector that makes these true HID lights. You can run "xenon" bulbs in halogen lights to give the imitation of true xenon/HID lights but it is typically nothing more than a tinted bulb that gives the bluish cast. Without the reflectors and ballast setup of the true HID/xenon's, you are basically tinting the color spectrum of the light output and running at the hotter temperatures of the traditional halogen bulbs. There are aftermarket conversions to the halogen setups that will approximate or possibly surpass the factory HID setup.
