Better late than never (although never is better)
I know this is a very old thread, but I have just experienced this LCD issue on the climate control system of my 2000 Boxster. In looking through the thread, the links to the eBay site to purchase the kits are no longer valid. A search of eBay didn't find anything but complete climate control units. Any thoughts on where one might get the repair kit?
