Welcome. For starters - what radio do you have. Secondly on my factory radio you have to set the radio on a band (such as FM1) dial in the frequency you want to lock in, then hold down the pre-set button you want to lock in FOR SEVERAL SECONDS until it beeps to let you know it has been accepted.
