My Porsche coolant is pink - but I've always had it for awhile!
If your coolant is thick/goopy/syrupy/gelatinous, then most likely it's had a reaction that caused it to gel.
Not good if that's the case. Flush it immediately, flush the entire system thoroughly with distilled water, and then replace with proper coolant.
