If you post the P code you are receiving, some kind soul may reply with a list of the probable causes in probability/test-sequence order listed in the DME manual for your car...provided you also supply the model year.

I have the factory manual on CD, but the Porsche error codes are not P codes, usually just 3 digit numbers. I guess what I'm looking for is the Porsche error code equivalent of the P code. Luckily I don't have any codes but I just ordered an OBD2 and I want to be prepared.
