oil misting in the top part of the AOS is a sign that the AOS is leaking. Also if the throttle body has a build up of oil in it you should get ready to replace it. It really is not that hard, you would be surprised. maybe an hour of work.

The final sign for me to change it was going from no oil consumption to having to add a quart of oil before an oil change. This happened twice before I finally changed it. Now it is back to normal, with no oil usage between changes.
