i saw the screen as well - black, a graphic and a few lines of text.

the most likely explanation is that the site itself wasn't compromised but instead suffered from a DNS redirect attack meaning that when we tried to get to 986forum.com the ip address the browser was given was for another "bad" site.

in any circumstance, changing your site password probably wouldn't be a bad idea.
