Color is the original black and it is in new condition. I removed this item from my '03 Boxster S and purchased one from Suncoast that was painted Arctic Silver like the '04 special edition. It fits the following: Boxster 97-04, 996-99-05, 996turbo-99-05 and 996GT3-04-05. $35 shipped.
