Keyed car

Sigh.... So I had my car parked outside in the SF downtown area and when I came back, someone had keyed my car. Currently, there's a solid line from the back to the front of my passenger door.

I've tried justifying that this would be a good reason to get the car re-painted but am not convinced and would at least first like to try and fix it with touch up paint and a scratch fixer.

Currently, I'm thinking of getting the Dr. Color Chip paint and following up with a Quixx paint stratch remover. I've looked around, and they seem to have some of the highest ratings. You guys have any feedback or advice for me to follow before doing this?
