"Thank you" to how-to posters!!!
Just wanted to say "thanks" to all the folks who have posted how-to articles or answered those types of questions.
At 6:30 this morning I began changing the alternator on my car. By about 7ish I was having the same "getting the _____ thing out" troubles others have had. After a quick forum search, I had the answers I needed.
It's now 8:30 and I'm in front of the TV getting ready for the Tour de France final stage. The Boxster is all buttoned up with a brand new alternator, waiting for a drive later today. Life is good!
