Thanks for the responses guys. Just a FYI, I manage an auto body supply store. There are flexible products made for bumpers like Evercoat 411. It's a flexible polyester glazing putty.
I can put a thin coat on, then sand smooth, prime with a urethane primer, sand again then paint and clear.
I'll be shooting BASF Diamont base and using whatever clear I have left from my last job.
Then I'll start on the nose and fill in the license plate holes and repaint up front.
I've already done a little touch up around the left tail light and the color match with the Diamont is spot on.
