Boxster's alignment is a bit more complicated than a standard car and some alignment shops don't want to deal with the hassle of setting them up right. In fact many owners complain that their alignment is off at the time of original new car delivery.

Alignment can also be set up to maximize traction or tire wear, each at the expense of the other. You shouldn't need to have your car aligned every year unless you have poor roads, accident damage, poor tire wear, or handling issues your trying to sort out.

Your best bet is to seek out local recommendations for specialists in your area that are familiar aligning Boxsters.

You should be able to find alignment specs in one of the Boxster forums to match you driving style.
