+1 This is awesome. I won't do it for just anyone, but I have no problem tossing the keys to someone that has proven to be mature and responsible.
The "How's it start?" question is always a hoot. I usually demand that they get out of the car if they are so incompetent they can't even start it... but I usually can't keep a straight face for long!
