The diff has it's own fluid - Hypoid gear oil.

The tranny fluid s/b red colored.

Despite several brands claiming compatability, the ONLY fluid recommeded by both Porsche and ZF Getrieb (the Mfr. of the 5HP19 transmission - aka Tiptronic) is ESSO LT 71141.

If the rebuilder used ANYTHING other than the ESSO fluid, you have a valid gripe.
