I'm also a new Boxster owner - Lapis Blue 2001 S. So far I love it. I own a few BMWs also and this car is the most fun you can have, clothed. Or not depending on your preferences.
I'm in Puyallup so looking for things in the South end. Thinking about starting a coffee and cars event down here.
