I responded to your PM but as Boxtaboy says these are plug and play. I didn't really want to mess with the control unit as it involves wiring and whatnot and makes the install no longer plug and play. Without the unit, there is a small gap between the low beam and high beam when the high beams are engaged. As Boxtaboy says, wasn't worth the trouble for me.
