			It could be your master cylinder - though they are generally reliable. It could also be your slave cylinder, which is mounted next to the gearbox.
 But before changing anything, I would try bleeding the clutch hydraulic fluid - if you have air in the system, it make the pedal mushy & the gears difficult to select.
 Plus its a lot cheaper and easier.......
