I have driven the 350Z several miles. It has very good power, but feels like a rice burner (I know, smack time....). However, both z cars I have driven have numerous rattles and just don't feel as tight as my Boxster. Also, I do not like th tranny: first gear hits red-line at about 15-18 mph. Seems like you have to shift a lot when accelerating hard. Brakes are not as firm as Porsche's and the car seem to have some over steer. Typical of Nissan, the car has gizmos everywhere and is definately priced well. From my understanding, Nissan's goal was competition with Honda and Toyota; not Audi, BMW, and Porsche.

I have not driven the HOnda. However, I am sure, as in most of their cars, it is a well built car.

The main question from my perspective: How long will these rice burner model be around? Porsche has been refining the flat 6 for many years, each car (and model) evolves with minor refinements each year, each year getting better and better.
