Check behind & under the seats for moisture - especially around the alarm ECU located under the drivers seat. If your carpets are wet, you probably have got blocked drains under the folding roof / engine compartment section and in the front hood section next to the battery - see your car manual for locations and details of how to clear.
If your alarm ECU gets swamped, that = big $$.
