You didn't say what year your car is, and it sounds like it's an automatic.

My '98 had a shudder on right turns while under power.
Replaced the motor mount first, and that solved another problem, where the car seemed to push to one side on hard acceleration in a straight line, and pull the other way when chopping the throttle in a straight line.

The solution to the shudder was to replace the right rear strut, which was completely dead, and had been for a while by the looks of it.
