Hi There,
I recently upgraded my 99 Boxster with a pioneer z1 with an upgraded 80g hard drive, Now I also drive all new Porsches for press, So here are a few things depending on the caymans system, First thing is mounting brackets Second thing is the face fitting square or tapered which cannot be changed,Third is fiber optics or not.
After all that again depending on caymans system if it ids Bose then you have different speakers Bose are usually 6 ohms so there is quite a bit yo consider, I'll tell you one thing I drove a Cayman for about 7 hrs and totally enjoyed the concert type system.I can get more info on systems if you need, I am currently looking into some new speakers they are called Morel a bit pricey but really good .If I can be of any help Please let me know.
