re-connect screenwash tank hose

This is not a step by step guide. But it may save you some money. Recently the screenwash jets on my partners 2001 986 3.2 s stopped working. I took it to a local independant porsche garage and they told me that the screenwash tank may be ruptured and to gain access would take a couple of hours.

I decided to have a look at it myself. I am not a mechanic . The screenwash tank is tucked under the front wing (passenger side) to access it the front mud guard must be partially removed. I found that by taking out only three bolts and one fastener it was possible to see most of the affected area. The tank was fine but the hose had come off.
I simply re-attached the hose (after checking for blockages) and it all works fine. So if you have a similar problem its cheaper and easier to do this one your self.
