I have the same issue
When I first bought the car, the previous owner told me it would happen unless I took it to a Shell station...where he never had issues with filling. 2 years later, I have the problem regardless of which station I take it too. It's not so bad if you're patient and you don't mind it taking 10 minutes while you trickle gas in your car.
Well I've read a lot of threads that talks about changing out one of the fuses, hope that will help solve your problem...that would be awesome. As for mine, it has to do with one of the two valves, one located at the filler neck and the other one you have to take the fender off as it is located near by the tank...as it is just my luck, I replaced the one on the filler neck and I still have the problem. Anyhow, I didn't bother getting it further repaired so for the meantime I wouldn't park behind me if at the gas station if you're waiting to filler up.
