Were I to go to the trouble of cutting filter open, I'd also send oil sample for evaluation. Not sure where in Sweden!

Not sure what parts are nonmagnetic

, but I think you are right to worry.

After switch from 0-40 M1 to Motul V300 5W-40 I thought my car was quieter at idle also.
