I have a 05 boxster S and have been in discussions with a dealer or two about trading it in for a new 09 with PDK. (I'm getting older and the traffic is getting worse and the PDK gets great reviews)

Anyway..I was given some numbers on my boxster and was deciding whether or not to try to sell it myself first.

Well this past weekend someone hits me in a parking lot and I'm now left with about 3K in damages to the rear side panel.

I have not said anything to the dealer yet

Obviously this is not good but what should I expect once I tell the dealer.

If I try to sell it myself I would of course disclose it but whats an discount worth?
