Failure of the oil to water heat exchanger is not uncommon, particularly if you car has the older “green” Porsche coolant in it. The oil cooler looks like this:



It is located on top of the engine, driver’s side rear, somewhat beneath the intake manifold runners. In the US, the unit sells for about $200. Changing it is a DIY, but you will need to totally drain the cooling system first. The swap out has been written up on many sites, so do a search…….
