There's a fill line on the dipstick cap, but it says it should reach that mark when the fluid is cold. I, of course, checked it right after I drove the car home, so wasn't quite sure how much to add. The level was right at the mark with the fluid warm, so I just added a little bit to the reservoir.

are you using OEM fluid or like a Prestone type?
