unless you are very careful, there is always the danger of over-oiling it.
The excess oil will then go airborne and may or may not foul up your MAF
When I brought my car to my last service my trusted mechanic gave me the "are you out of your mind" look, pulled out the BMC, threw it in the garbage and replaced it with an OEM filter ....
