Car was fine this morning but at lunch I cranked the A/C and was greeted with a loud humming from what sounds to be behind the passenger side dash.
- Is it likely the compressor or are there other less expensive things that can cause this sound?
- Can I wreck anything or cause damage continuing to use the A/C like this?
