To answer the first part of your question, I use the standard "B" oil cap wrench and it works okay. Give it a few smacks while seating the wrench so it does not fly off. While torquing it down I find the wrench twists around the oil cap ever so slightly but enough to make it a little bit of a pain to get off at the very end. Give it a little bang the other direction and off it comes.
